Hippocrates was a wise guy, and those are words I live by. As a nutrition student (soon-to-be dietitian), I take a keen interest in food. I think you should always enjoy what you eat with the added benefit of nutrition-packed options to improve your well-being. Making delicious medicine — that’s what this blog is all about. I enjoy making a mess in the kitchen and I want to share my trials and tribulations with you.
Sprout Nutrition is the name of my site because I believe all opportunities start from little seeds we plant in our life. Not all seeds flourish, but the ones that do lead to bigger and better possibilities. I support making small sustainable changes that create a healthier you. When we build a healthy and supportive growing environment, we sprout into something new and exciting.
I also chose the name Sprout Nutrition because of my growing passion for gardening and eating foods close to home. I am continually learning and improving my green thumb but I enjoy incorporating fresh ingredients I have grown in my different culinary creations.
